December Last day of term – Swords and competitions

It was the day of the sword, of making swords and daggers and sheaths made out of leather and safety pins, of democratic judging. It was the day of Hexagon is Bestagons, led by the Magpie and extrapolated by Lemon. The day of chocolate apples, leek and potato soup. It was the last day of term, close to the shortest day, with a story to music at the end of the day.
