Halesworth turned into a Medieval town, Kinda part of the park encampment to celebrate Halesworth being granted its charter, 800 years ago.
Gemma, Leslie, Diana, Virginia, Esther, and Rachel dressed up: Diana’s dress of ragwort dye, Leslies of Turmeric dye. Gemma taught us how to make cordage out of nettles. Esther and Rachel persuaded passers by to crush the roasted Knopper Galls to make Gall ink. It was a day of feeling part of history or rather herstory.
