Kinda Family Forest School 2024

Our Kinda Forest family explored Worlingham woods today.  We had apple flapjacake as we greeted each other in circle, sharing things that kept us feeling warm… …. a good stomp around the woods, a cat sleeping on our lap or a woollen blanket wrapped around us, the fire in the garden, a toasty arga inside or physical work outside, thermal or leather gloves, thoughts of making nice art or the theme of bears, a woolley hat and trees! Did you know trees have three ways in which to keep us warm !!!

1. Planting their saplings
2. Chopping gathered wood
3. Fire

dampa bread on sticks were cooked.  We made & drew with charcoal, played together with showers of leaves, rolled bird feeders of peanut butter and seed and throughly explored what the woods gifted us, from helicopter to a curious house with ladybird occupants.

Then Alice told us all a wonderful story about how the crow became so black that seemed to absorb everyone of us within its tale, whilst we ate a choice of vibrant red or orange soup
