Peter came back! And Dell and Thalia visited (or Thell and Dailia) with music and song. We spoke of nettles:
Very good in soup. Falling in nettles memory from childhood. The Nettle Dress film. Used in cosmetics as a cleanser and moisturiser . I’ve always lived among nettles. Egyptians used string of nettles . We’ve got a few in our garden.
With Meg in mind, and usiing nettles prepared by Kally (their stinging leaves and fibres removed, we bashed them, with a certain pleasure, and pealed away their skin. Flagilated, like they did to martyrs. Others drew nettles, beautifully.
Esther later sent this excellent YOUTUBE link to Nettles and how to tell the male and female apart (except for droopy bosoms). The female are seeds shapped like a Bishops hat, and droop down, the male are in fact flowers, and are more ‘erect’ .
