Dear Kinda team in Kaliwoods
Thank you all for your great efforts to clear the wood at the end of last term. A huge amount of rubbish was let go of. The sheds – summer house and chinese metal shed are tidy and mostly labelled – the summer could do with some more labels. The kitchen awaits you.
In an attempt to reduce waste (and my bills), I have opted for smaller bins, let’s see if they work. We are now only using the wood twice a week. The bins will be emptied once a month. Please bring in less waste if possible and let’s try and keep as much synthetic plastic out of the wood.
My log cutter has cut a load more wood for us, which needs moving to the under cover wood pile
The wormery needs a clear out, for us to use the magnificent soil within it which we can use for acorns perhaps.
The trolly needs a bit of a mend
Some new bags have appeared. Can we try and keep stuff in boxes please? mice and winter arriving.
More labels in the summer house.
The Igloo, much neglected, needs to be re-found, loved and tended. The beautiful old school benches cleaned and treated. The entrance either remade as a bender of taken down. Pallets used as firewood, removed.
Please can we try and keep the store spaces labelled and clear so we can all see what is there to use. And bring in less stuff!!
Finally at the end of this week I am going through all the 7 years of Kinda history on this web site, to select what to save to move to the new site. I will delete the rest and the site will be closed. It’s a huge task. 5,000+ images, 1,000 posts and pages. If you have any images or moments you particularly think it is important i save and transfer to the new web site, let me know.
