I once loved a dog
Or should I say — this dog loved me
We sat by the fire
Isn’t it good in Kaliwood
Rachel tells me to ‘stay’
And I bark ‘I’m glad you’re here’
I curl up beside
While she sits in her old wooden chair
I sat on a rug biding my time
Her place was mine
We sat until two and then she said
“it’s time to throw stick”
She told me she walked every evening
and started to laugh
And I felt so happy
I jumped up and started to bark
And when I awake – I’m not alone
I’ve found an earth home
The wood is my name
Isn’t it good Kali’s wood?
