Elders 14 – Swifts, Swallows, House Martins
These darting, swooping, never landing, migratory birds who arrive every summer without fail, were our homework. We racked oak leaf wine (transfering from one demijohn to another) . We listened to the wind which sounded like the sea. We sang along with Del and Nicky
