This weeks Elders was a fruitful day. We shared crab apples, gratitudes, beetroot and skills creating spurtles in the tool area. Inside the bath bomb we painted with feathers using our home made inks and nearby the fire circle, yarns were naturally dyed to the sound of the woad song. Arms were lifted above heads… Continue reading Elders Wellbeing 4 October 7th

Elders Wellbeing 3 September 29
We each shared a story about the importance of marvellous trees in our lives, climbing inside, being on top, their lovely shapes, silver like a fairy tale, the way they sway, saying hello each time I pass, husband and son making baskets, a funny little car I had all my life, a dibber or a… Continue reading Elders Wellbeing 3 September 29
Elders Wellbing 2 – acorn planting
The day was mellow and acorny. During the circle we asked (whilst passing the ‘talking acorn’ around, instead of stick) what did equinox mean to everyone/ what was their favourite part of this autumnal time of year? We welcomed 22 local Halesworth… Continue reading The summer storm in the wood

Saturday July 23rd Lucy Coote, Community Ambassador at Rosedale Funeral Home, opened up the questions for us.
