Who we are

Kinda Education began running sessions in Kaliwoods in 2018. We are a non profit making community organisation who self governs using a model called sociocracy. We use a circle structure which is organised by consent and try very hard to make us a horizontally organised organisation.

Our Parent ‘circle’ houses the Direction Keepers, whose responsibility it is to keep us on the path we set out to travel, within the Kinda ethos and pedagogy, with kindness at our core. We currently have four founding Direction Keepers Eloise, Louisa, Mell and Rachel – and two newer DK’s Martin and Molly.

I have a personal love of the outdoors that started as soon as I could walk. My childhood was one of den-building, wild-swimming, mud-love, climbing (on pretty much anything), fascination with plants, animals and insects and elaborate games amongst the trees
