It was an intimate pleasure to hold a duck and chicken, bought to us this day by Claire. It came out of our letter to the other tribes when we said we’d like the animals to come to us too. Letters rock.
We delved into the broad bean will all our senses. Gina shared the story of how her father used to ask her to rub the velvety inside shell of the broad bean on his back as a cure for skin defects (moles?) – a mystery today! Saw it’s placenta (not umbilical – i was corrected) linking the bean to the pod, we drew them, we ate them, we smelt them.
And we danced the broad bean dance.
